Cali baby!

Saanvi took her first trip to the west coast, to of course, our old home, San Diego.  She did wonderful on the plane there and back and we had a relaxing weekend with some wonderful old friends.    When we all came back to San Diego for our mini reunion, it was absolutely mind boggling to think how care free we used to live our lives, but now, only 2 years later, almost all of us had been married and/or had a baby.  The days of hanging on the beach for hours was now a 20 minute trip to a near by park.  Nonetheless, we still had a blast and still got to enjoy the amazing city of San Diego.  Why did we move again?

Just landed...at the San Diego aiport

She already loves Cali!

Saanvi apparently has 2 teeth now

Should old acquaintance be forgot....Happy New Year's!

2012!

Oh my goodness, the year is coming to an end and 2012 is already upon us.  I always find New Year's to be depressing for some reason, although I still haven't figured out why.  I'm usually with family or friends, so I have nothing to be sad about, but I guess it's just the feeling of time passing by that saddens me or remembering loved ones that you I'm starting another year without...who knows.  Either way I hope everyone's 2012 brings health, happiness, love and in my case...an updated blog ;)

Here are some shots from the first month of 2012. Happy New Year's to everyone!

My started out New Year's Eve at Stephanie's wedding (my best friend's younger sister). She looked AMAZING. Congrats Steph & Adam!!

Ok hands down, hottest mom of 4 children I know.   My blonde bombshell bestie Kimberly.

Kimberly's oldest child, Jada and I.

Me and my boo...second night out without the baby!

We came home after the wedding and put Saanu down to sleep, but first wished her a Happy New Years.   Let's hope as she gets older she wants to stay in and spend every new year's with her amma ;)

We then went to ring in the new year at Tarun and Kamy's...but of course, we can't end the year without tying up some lose ends at Premier Allergy...oh yes, we brought our work computer to the party.

This is how crazy the party got....Kamy busted a vacuum. Man how our night's have changed!

This is how my sister rung in the New Year's...sick and tired.   All for a wonderful reason though....SHE'S PREGNANT!!!!! Poor thing had such bad morning sickness the only thing she could keep down was ice cream.  I am so  excited to meet my little niece...can't wait for August!! Congrats to my sister and Prakash, I couldn't be happier!!

A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down....

We have had a new addition to our family since December...no it's not what you think!! We hired a nanny to help out with Saanvi while I worked at the hospital and at the office and we couldn't have found a more perfect match!  Not only does Saanvi love her but Summit and I also get along with her so well, we feel like she's known us for years.  This woman (she's only a mere 23 years old, so she's really still a girl) gets all props because she was able to finally get Saanvi to take a bottle.  When I get stressed about something, she always brings me back to reality and reminds that everything always will work out. She is awesome with the baby and is always looking for ways to keep their daily activities new and educational.  She is such a positive person and always walks into the house with a bright smile.  Heather, we are sooooo thankful to have found you, and we can't wait to see Saanvi grow up with you.  I don't have nearly enough pictures of you guys to do you justice, but nonetheless....
