Summit and I are so lucky to have absolutely amazing friends. Our friends have been so supportive of all the wonderful and not so wonderful moments in our lives and have done so much for us. I truly consider them all as my own family. We have been having so much fun introducing Saanvi to all of our close friends, especially our friend's children. It's hard to believe we have known these guys for years and now our children will be friends. Here's a few pictures of Saanvi meeting some of her favorite uncles and aunties and soon to be best friends. Forgive me if I left anyone out, send me an email and I"ll update!! Organizing pictures has been a nightmare! We still have a lot more people to meet too!

| Jami Aunty came to visit us in the hospital. I have been friends with her husband Deepu since highschool and our parents are very close friends as well. They are expecting their first baby at the end of August. We can't wait to meet little Anjali!! |

| This is Ekta aunty. I have known Ekta "hector" since I was in kindergarden. Ekta was really supportive when my father was ill and is one of the most dependable people I know. I think she's used to hanging out in the hospital with the Nair family:) |

Priya Velyamma! This girl is basically another older sister to me. She is one of the most amazing people I know and has a ridiculously awesome personality. If I'm ever down, I just have to hear her laugh and I'm happy again. She took such good care of me during my 3rd trimester we always joke that she's another father to Saanvi. Love you pri!!

| Richard Uncle is probably the most non expressive person Saanvi will ever meet. I think when he met her he said "Hahhaha what a frog" (He thinks i looked like a frog when i was little) and then walked away. I know he doesn't say the usual sweet things to babies or anyone for that matter, but I know if it came down to it, he would do anything to help his friends out. |
 |
| Sheethal is one of my best friends. She has done so much for me and Summit I can't even put it into words. I lived with her in college for 2 years and for 5 months of my pregnancy! She is definitely another "mom" to Saanvi. I love her and her family just like my own and I would be lost without all the help, love and support they have given me. |
 |
| Jen Aunty and Girish Uncle. Girish chettan's family and mine are the oldest of oldest friends. His parents basically helped my parents raise me along with Vijaya aunty and Chandran Uncle. I'm so happy after all these years the younger Malu generation of kids has kept in touch! |
 |
| Tarun Chacha and Simran didi. We totally didn't get a picture of Kamy Chachi unfortunately! Tarun and Summit are best friends and I know that Tarun is probably one of the first people along with Jigar, that Summit calls when he has a problem. Tarun and Kamy also took such good care of me when I was pregnant. I have a lot of stories to tell Simmu and Saanu when they are older about their papas ;) |

| Veena aunty! Veena and I went to college together and had a blast in undergrad. She's married to another of Summit's best friends, Anand, who I have also known since I was basically 7 years old. She had an adorable baby boy, Arjun Veer just 6 weeks after we had Saanvi and we have been bonding by sharing new mother experiences and tips to each other. We spend the nights texting each other while we are nursing. Our nights start off by "our sweet little angels are so cute" and then by 5am after no sleep it becomes "these monsters never sleep". Hahhaha, who would of thought I would get to enjoy motherhood with another one of my besties. |

This is Nalin. He is such a little monkey. He is almost 1 year old and is the first born to our friends Asim and Priya. Priya and I lived together for a year and she also went to medical school with Summit. Summit and Priya fight with each other just like brothers and sisters and me and Asim just sit back and laugh. I feel like I keep saying the same thing about all my friends, but here is another couple that has done so much for us. We are just soooo lucky to have such great friends. I love Nalin so much and he is so active and ready to walk any day. Here's another group of kids that I have a lot of stories to share with about their dads.
