Raksha Bandhan

We celebrated Saanvi's first Raksha Bandhan this year with her cousins Veer, Vihan, Maya and Natasha.  Shivani and Summit have celebrated every year since Shivani was born and we want to start the same tradition for Saanvi with her brothers. Raksha Bandhan is a holiday celebrated between sisters and brothers.  Since a brother protects his sister, the sister ties a rakhi as a bond of protection and a symbol that she will also protect him.  It was so sweet to see the kids trying to tie the rakhis on eachother! We have such cutie pie kids in our family!

All the bhais

Maya tying rakhi on Vihan

All the brothers and sisters. Veer, Vihan, Maya, Natasha and Saanvi.

Natasha loves Saanvi and helps me take care of her so much! She may need a younger sister...hmm what do you think Autumn bhabi and Shamik bhai ;)

Hanging out with Dadi

I've been celebrating raksha bandhan with my awesome brother in law Prakash, for the last 3 years. Here are a few shots of me and Prakash celebrating raksha bandhan together.
